Paraplegic Center Peshawar, June 3, 2024 – World Clubfoot Day is June 3 – a day to raise awareness of clubfoot, a condition that affects millions of people worldwide, and an opportunity to highlight the importance of early detection, referral, and timely treatment. Additionally, this day celebrates the successes of those who have received and provided treatment. MiracleFeet is the largest global organization solely dedicated to clubfoot treatment. In Pakistan, more than 9,000 children are born with clubfoot each year. Paraplegic Center Peshawar is the MiracleFeet partner responsible for collaborating with local healthcare providers (NIRM Islamabad, SGTH Swat, ATH Abbottabad, KTH Peshawar) in Pakistan to deliver high-quality, no-cost clubfoot care. Over time the goal is for treatment to be integrated into the public health system.
